Anna Birch is a multi-media artist whose creative practice spans painting, fiber arts, felting, printmaking, and mixed media. With a deep passion for teaching and sharing the joy of art-making, Anna brings warmth, encouragement, and creative energy to every class she teaches.
Anna's work reflects her love of experimentation and her belief that art should be accessible and joyful. She works across a wide range of mediums, from traditional painting to fiber arts and beyond, and encourages her students to explore, experiment, and find their own creative voice.
Teaching Philosophy
Anna believes that everyone is creative, and that art-making is a powerful way to connect with oneself and others. Her teaching style is patient, encouraging, and hands-on. She creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and trying new things.
At Hollis Artspace, Anna teaches classes in painting, fiber arts, felting, printmaking, and mixed media for both youth and adults. She is especially passionate about introducing new students to the joy of creating art.
